Welcome to the wonderful eco world of the Ballina Beach Village – on the river by the sea.  Our holiday village is a tropical paradise – where you can really escape from all the pressure of modern living. Whether you want to laze by the pool, have long beach walks, kayak through the tranquil river or catch your dinner in one of local fishing spots – it’s all here just for you.

If you want some adventure we can do that too! Why not take a flying trapeze class and swing through the air with the greatest of ease! Or do our African drumming workshop. Every Saturday night we feature the sensational Utopian Fire dancing show, or chill out in our cafe listening to a wonderful folk duo. Once a month we also put on an amazing circus and flying trapeze show featuring world famous aerial artists. Look for our special Sunday Jazz lunches (check out is 2pm on Sundays). We have one of the largest dolphins pods in the world frolicking off our beach.

There is an all weather 4WD beach access (no permit required) from our property, and a full sports activities centre that offers bike, kayak, surf, paddle board and kite surf hire.  Surf the best left hand wave break in Australia! We also cater to children and regularly have children’s activities like sand and face painting, glitter tattoos, games and other activities (ask Captain Rob about his Pirate adventure?).

Our accommodation is fresh, clean and modern – fully equipped with all linen, kitchens, air cons and fans. Our deluxe accommodation has Austar, Wifi, large flat screen TV’s and more. We also have an internet kiosk.

Even though we are just a quick 10 minute car ride to the large town of Ballina where you can shop till you drop, we also have a well stocked kiosk and a terrific chef who can offer you delicious meals in Mermaid’s Cafe. 15 minutes from the Ballina airport, or an hour and half from the Gold Coast airport.

PS. Weddings, parties – anything! We love big groups and regularly host yoga retreats, surfing safari’s, 4WD clubs and family and sporting groups. If you want a beach wedding – then we are definitely the place for you! Get married in the Temple of Nature.

Ballina Beach Village is nestled on 15 acres between the Pacific Ocean and the broadwater of the Richmond River. Access is easy by sealed road or vehicular ferry.
