Three hour Cultural tour of Ballina and surrounding areas We will visit Mythological Sites hear stories and local Aboriginal legends. Learn how the landscape was created by the Goanna and the Snake. Visit middens old camping grounds, Bora rings, contact sites, fertility sites, initiation grounds, fish traps, hunting areas and other historical places of interest. Although sites have been lost over time as a result of European settlement and natural environmental factors our traditional homeland is still rich in existing Aboriginal sites which are of great cultural importance * FullDayCultural Tour: 7hrs Depart Visitor Information Centre at Ballina or Byron Bay at 10.00 am return at 4.30 pm Visit sacred and significant sites. Morning tea lunch and afternoon tea provided. Costs: $160 .00 per day/per person Bush Tucker Tour: 3hrs Depart Visitor Information Centre at Ballina or Byron Bay at 10.00 am Visit local bush tucker area, sample food.
