Let us tell you more about the Ballina Beach Village. It is a very special piece of eco paradise. Situated on 15 acres of wilderness paradise, but still only 10 minutes to the large metropolis of Ballina – The Ballina Beach Village and Wilderness Camping Park offers you a wide range of accommodation from deluxe cabins to wilderness camping.

We are located on the primary dune behind the endless South Ballina Beach – known as the best left hand surf break in Australia. Every year surfers’ from around the globe come to check out our world famous surfing beach! To get to the beach it is a short walk from your bungalow or tent –about 4 to 8 minutes walking. We are also opposite the wide and serene Mobbs Bay on the Richmond River, and you can kayak, paddle board, surf, bike and kite surf on the beach, river and surroundings. Our sports hire centre will kit you out with what you need. Also we are the Ballina home to the Byron Arts circus and flying trapeze school.

Apart from camping in powered or unpowered cool and shady sites, we also offer a range of great beach cabin accommodation – from backpacker style accommodation on a per night basis in dormitories to budget, standard and deluxe cabins with Austar, Wifi, flat screen TVs and more. Every cabin and bungalow is fully self contained. You don’t need to bring anything!

We supply all linen too! And pride ourselves on our 3.5 star hospitality standard. Our facilities are second to none, and we have a huge camp kitchen with all amenities, two pools, two amenities blocks, two Laundromats and a well stocked kiosk and cafe.

Every weekend there is a festival feeling with African drummers, fire dancers, folk musicians and activities for the children. We specialise in catering to large groups of all styles, weddings, fishing groups, youth and other groups, and of course 4WDrivers who love the great beach access. No permit required.
