Horse Riding

Just down the road from the Ballina Beach Village is Tassiriki Ranch. You don’t need to be a rider – these horses are gentle and obedient and your guides are fully trained. Prior to departing you are given instruction and shown the basics. Then your tour guide takes you through the scenic dunes to the beach. There is a variety of rides available, including a one hour, 90 minute and two hour rides. Also romantic couples rides available too!! Yes, people do propose (and accept!).
